Italchimica will be at the Interclean trade fair in Amsterdam from 14 to 17 May with Sanitec, its brand dedicated to professional cleaning.
The Sanitec booth (01.411) has been designed to be an open, welcoming area that visually tells the story of its different product lines, divided by applicazion area. In particular, it highlights solutions for facilities, hotels and restaurants, skin care/amenities, and the care of stone surfaces, monuments, and graffiti removal through the Petranova line.
Sustainability is a common thread when it comes to the booth display, highlighted through the wide range of Ecolabel-certified products (more than 50, which combine excellent performance with verified environmental standards), and through panels reporting achievements on issues such as the reduction of emissions, the smart use of resources, renewable energy, biodegradable raw materials, waste management and changes to packaging.
In terms of product updates, the Ecolabel-certified Quantum System is front and centre, designed and developed to lower costs and minimize the environmental footprint of professional laundries. Products in the Sanitec Quantum line are up to three times more concentrated than the standard. In addition to optimizing water use, these detergents reduce the impact of transportation by 50%. Laboratory tests demonstrated the effectiveness of the Quantum line even at low temperatures, which results in energy savings for laundries and longer fabric life.
Another important update is the launch of the innovative E-Box packaging for Sanitec Green Power liquid soap refill, which reduces the use of plastic by 90% compared to standard 1-litre bottles. The new packaging considerably optimizes logistics, thereby making it possible to transport 66% more product (by volume) per single pallet. Sanitec E-Box is an innovation aimed at the most sustainability-conscious international cleaning enterprises.
In a well-equipped test area within the booth, the company's laboratory managers will carry out product tests in front of the public, who will be able to ask questions and explore technical issues on the use of the different formulations.
Interclean will also mark the launch of the new Sanitec catalogue, which has been overhauled in both its layout and content, making it easier and more intuitive to find exactly what you're looking for.

Italchimica will present Sanitec Quantum at Interclean 2024, an innovative concentrated detergent line for professional laundries. These nine products have been developed for the different operational phases and needs of laundry businesses, available in 5- to 15-litre packages. Thanks to its concentrated formulas, Sanitec Quantum not only minimizes water use, it also can cut shipping costs by half compared to a full line of standard products because it considerably reduces the storage space required. In this way, it contributes to a substantial decrease in CO2 through optimized logistics. In the Quantum line, one set of products is Ecolabel certified (IT/039/009), further reducing environmental impact due to the absence of EDTA and NTA.
Sanitec Quantum detergents achieve excellent results even at low temperatures due to the synergy between surfactants and enzymatic components. This allows a significant reduction in energy use and wash times, which in turn further lowers costs. Moreover, the fabrics washed last longer.
Tests conducted according the guidelines published by A.I.S.E (International Association for Soaps, Detergents and Maintenance Products) show that, even at temperatures of 40°C, cotton and poly-cotton fabrics come out comparably clean to those washed at 60°C.

This year in Amsterdam, Italchimica is presenting a major innovation to international cleaning operators: Sanitec E-Box, new cellulose-based packaging for its liquid soaps for professional use. Designed to reduce environmental impact, Sanitec E-Box packaging offers both convenience and sustainability to the hospitality industry, facilities in general, and even healthcare structures.

Compared to plastic bottles, Sanitec E-Box is naturally sustainable because it is made of a mainly cellulose-based material. FSC certification ensures a supply chain that respects forests and reduces its carbon footprint. Recyclability is certified by Aticelca according to UNI 11743:2019, and Type I environmental certification pursuant to ISO 14024 is in progress.
One of the main advantages of Sanitec E-Box is that it decreases the use of plastic: 90% less compared to traditional 1-litre bottles. In turn, its compact form optimizes and streamlines transport and thus directly cuts CO2 emissions: in fact, up to 66% more product (by volume) can be transported per pallet, compared to 1-liter plastic bottles.

Its solid and durable design facilitates the work of laundry operators by promoting precise dosing without product waste. The packaging, without the cap, can be disposed of in the paper bin, while the cap goes in the plastic bin.
