Maintaining hygiene is one of the priorities of SPHERE PROFESSIONNAL customers. The new drawstring bag reduces the risk of leakage thanks to the absence of a bottom seam, allows optimal filling and provides comfort and hygiene for users.

For this market, SPHERE PROFESSIONNAL offers compostable bio-sourced bags from Origine France Garantie (OFG), made from renewable plant materials (potato starch) which comply with both the French standard for domestic composting (NF T51-800) and the French and European standard for industrial composting (NF EN 13432).
SPHERE PROFESSIONNAL meets the 2016 regulation : Grenelle II law which imposes that from 10 tons of biowaste thrown away per year, a collection of biowaste is compulsory with a sorting at the source and a recovery of organic waste in the form of composting or methanization. SPHERE PROFESSIONAL meets the needs of the catering market by offering protective bags and covers for wheeled bins.
On January 1st 2024, local authorities will have to provide source separation solutions for bio-waste to all their citizens. SPHERE PROFESSIONNAL offers to support local authorities with its range of bags for biowaste which are perfectly adapted to the collection at the point of voluntary contribution, door-to-door or at the foot of the building.
Some countries are ahead of the game in this respect, such as Italy, which, since 1 January 2022, has been collecting organic waste separately, as well as compostable biodegradable packaging certified to NF EN 13432.
